About me

I am the network admin at a large grammar school in Northern Ireland and helped deploy the country’s first iPad 1-1 scheme.

16 years working in IT in a school environment has filled my brain with lots of little tips and tricks. Too many for my brain to cope with in fact! So after many years of putting it off, and having been inspired by fellow staff members to get moving on it, I intend to get some of these hints and observations out of my head and onto the web.

This site will serve as a personal memory bank for various useful tidbits and hopefully will be of use to others as well.

And as for the title of the site – my colleagues would probably tell you I can be a little bit fussy and like things done a certain way. Although in my defense there are systems for a reason 🙂 Consistency and uniformity have served me well in the past.
